NEWS UPDATE:

Hi there,
        Well, Writers, we're enjoying the holiday hiatus and hope you are looking forward to our resumption the first Tuesday of January.

 We're still on for the "What would make the group more interested in returning on the 1st Tuesday of each month," were worked out with Barnes & Noble's new Community Relations Manager Tatina Lawrence.

        She has agreed to give Guild Members book prizes for Writing.

        First, Second, and Third place to the person who Writes 600 words on "Your Favorite Author and Why?"

        This will be supported by the group at a coming meeting prizes awarded the following month.

        All are welcome to join in.

        Tatina also said that besides placement prizes she has some extra goodies for author humor and for creativity pieces.

As we are writing our own book of 3000-5,000 word short stories. Still untitled our book will be sold for shared revenue. We are lucky to have attained guidance from Pahrump's Writer Guild, "Oasis" and "Spotlight On Pahruump" publisher Steve Johnson who shepherded their quality offering.
